Meet My Beautifully Unphotogenic Cats

Hey folks! I’m Squidwizard, and these are my two little chaos-makers: Fritatta and Ciabatta. They’re both around 4 years old now. Fritatta was a tiny abandoned stray I found in a gas-station parking lot when she was just 3 months old (talk about a cat adoption story straight out of a movie). Ciabatta, on the other hand, came from a rough start—I rescued her out of a pretty awful shelter situation when she was about 7 months old.
Now, here’s the funny part. Even though I’ve managed to snag a few decent shots, for the life of me I cannot get a good picture of either of them. Forget those Pinterest-perfect “aesthetic” cat photos—you won’t find them here. I’ve completely given up on the whole “Instagram-worthy” vibe and instead embraced the disaster. Every photo is chaotic, blurry, hilarious… basically, funny cat pictures that double as unintentional cat photography tips (step one: lower your expectations 😂).
At the end of the day, they’re healthy, happy, and spoiled—thanks to a mix of affordable veterinary care, the occasional pet wellness plan, and my obsession with keeping them safe. And honestly? That’s all that matters. Comedy + cats = the best kind of content.
Hello everyone! This is Fritatta

Yes, we spell it differently.
And this is Ciabatta

Both beautiful kitties

(And helpful-ish.)
Very sweet and proud

Graceful and photogenic

…sort of

Oh dear.
They always want me to take a picture

Because no matter how much I try

No matter how many attempts

(It’s heckin impossible)
It’s like a curse

But the best curse ever

So, everyone: meet Ciabatta
